					<description>This just shows there is economy of scale to research. It can only be done by a giant, who has a secure -enough position to be able to invest in the really distant future. The best example is the government :) though unfortunately the government is also subject to enough short-term pressure to be less motivated to spend on long-term projects.</description>

					<description>M$ only hires respected academic researchers, but -as far as I know- hasn't produced any relevant results. Moreover, the software created by M$ still comes with little new ideas.</description>
